National Medical Librarians Month

by Erica Heasley on 2017-10-06T15:48:00-04:00 | 0 Comments

October is National Medical Librarians Month, to celebrate and showcase the important role of medical librarians as information experts at academic institutions, hospitals, and other healthcare organizations.

The Maguire Medical Library has an expert team of faculty medical librarians and library staff committed to empowering and educating users through evidence, research, and information.

All of our faculty librarians are members of the National Medical Library’s Academy of Health Information Professionals (AHIP), a peer-reviewed credentialing and professional development organization. As health information professionals, we strive to meet the Medical Library Association's professional competencies for lifelong learning and professional success.

With our collective years of experience, education, and knowledge, we can provide you with access to quality medical resources and search tools, specialist library instruction and consultations, and guidance on research, publishing, and copyright. Need expert help? Contact us today at medlibrary@med.fsu.edu.
